Meet your teacher

Art, dance & design — one creative teacher

Monalisa Art Institute is run by Monika Deshpande — painter, choreographer and designer. Monika teaches every medium from crayons to acrylics, choreographs award-winning Bollywood performances, and holds a diploma in computer graphics, web design and animation.

Her dance method breaks every routine into a series of easy steps, and her art classes are kept tiny so each student gets real one-on-one guidance. Students' work is shown at an annual art exhibition, and her dancers light up festivals across Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR.
